Counterpoint: what if I like it?
A favorite song can regulate you. A familiar outfit can remove one decision from an already crowded morning. A comfort show can provide predictable emotional texture. A repeated meal can make feeding yourself possible when planning feels expensive. Deep interests, routines, objects, textures, topics and patterns can support regulation, transition, focus and recovery.

Familiarity is not automatically a flaw
